Doing what you love and serving others

When I was a little kid, I wanted to be an artist. I LOVED art! However, growing up, I never got a chance to do more than finger paint in elementary school. That all changed last year when I felt this unexplainable urge to buy some paint and brushes.

You should have seen me in the Artists section of the store. I was lost! Oils, acrylics, water colors, types of brushes...and the list went on. I decided on some oil paint and completed my purchase with the tools I needed.

I went home that night to play. I needed to have some fun! I looked at that scary blank canvas waiting for me, took a deep breath, and made a brush stroke. I had NO idea what to paint, I was just "slapping color" and doing something new. What happened was a beautiful landscape with a night sky, and an old barn was born on that canvas. I was awestruck, and in love with painting!

Today, I paint my designs on clothing, producing works of art for my clients to express themselves through. I help them to express their uniqueness and personality in ways they
may not have thought of before.

I love what I do! Designing and serving others is not a separate thing for me. It's the whole picture.

What is it that you love to do? Are you doing it?

Take a step today to finding your passion and expressing it in your own unique way.
